If you are being interviewed over a meal be aware that you ARE being watched. Be careful of what you say and how you eat your meal.  The smallest things sometimes can cost you a position. 

Example. Two potential  candidates for a managerial position are invited to dinner by the company president. Both have exemplary records and are equally qualified for the job. When the meal arrives the boss observes that one candidate begins to put salt on his meat before he actually tastes it. Should that matter? Does it affect his ability to do the job? Probably not. Will he get the job. Maybe , maybe not.. It's always up to the employer. He could think that a person who salts his food before tasting it may also make decisions before weighing all the facts or properly accessing  the problem.   You never know- just something to think about.
